Will began playing football at a young age which put him on the path to sport/fitness and being active.He started strength training at a conventional gym doing the usual boring routines until he was introduced to CrossFit in 2014 and was instantly hooked, This turned into a passion for coaching with his coaching career beginning in 2016.
Will has been a part of the JST Compete team since 2019. Will has competed at many competitions including the Rainhill trials and Glacier Games and has travelled around the world to be involved in many competitions including Regionals and the CrossFit games. Will graduated from his Sport and Exercise Science degree from the University of Cumbria and went on to achieve a Master’s degree in Psychology of Sport and Exercise from Leeds Beckett University alongside having CrossFit level 2, British weightlifting level 2 and PT level 3. Working with a wide range of athletes and elite coaches, along with pursuing education, has moulded Will into the coach he is today and is constantly striving to better himself in order to make his athletes progress to reach their goals and fulfil their potential.
Will is looking forward to using both his education and coaching experience to help athletes achieve their goals and beyond. You can expect a strong working relationship, with communication and working together to be at the forefront of our journey together to reach the goals we set.
